Business planning & Strategy

  • Evaluates financial data to facilitate accurate identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Participates in Management team to achieve strategic and operational objectives via effective administration of financial control, management and forecasting initiatives.
  • Provides assessment of financial implications of business opportunities, investment and capital project alternatives, including opportunities for working capital improvement.
  • Directs the collaboration and integration of financial activities across different functions (internal and external).

Performance measurement

  • Works in conjunction with FLT members in evaluating applicable systems, and development of scope and cost-benefit assessment for new systems or systematic processes.
  • Consults with Management team on financial reporting and performance analysis findings.
  • Partners with cross-functional leaders to proactively influence business decisions with tact-based financial data and analysis.

Reporting & compliance

  • Participates in and ensures financial reporting is in compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements as included in the company Finance manual.
  • Incorporates perspectives and insight from other finance functions to improve data collection, reporting efficiency and content accuracy in area of responsibility.
  • Oversees detailed analysis of monthly closing results.
  • Promotes and ensures accurate and timely financial reporting and transparency.
  • Fosters adherence to company Group Governance & Control list and initiates actions accordingly.
  • Preparation and analysis of accounts of the SSU, such as p&l and KPIs for actual budget and forecast.

Relationship building & communication

  • Identifies and develops key internal network to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Champions value-added contribution of finance organization in support of strategic business initiatives and financial performance improvement (internal and external).

Leadership

  • Trains/leads and provides direction to finance staff.
  • Challenges employees to continuously improve key analytical and technical skills as well as providing them challenges to grow within their position.
  • Consults with business partners and finance colleagues.
  • Leads teams and projects effectively.
  • Leverages resources outside of individual’s direct control.

A Bachelor´s degree, preferably in Accounting or Business Economics or equivalent subject.

Professional experience:

A minimum of five years experience in comparable job. Experience/comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline and multi-site organization.

Personality:

Good communication skills.

Languages:

Russian native, English advanced/fluent.
